Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen!
Yes, it's farewell to little Århus.
Home to around 240,000 people, the City of Smiles has been my home for just over 6 years. 6 years! My God! How did that happen? Coming from London, Århus was a slap in the face, but in a good way. Quaint, cosy friendly and open, I soon thought that Århus was somewhere I could stay for a while. And stay I did. Actually, it was only meant to be for 6 months, but that's how life goes.
But I have missed the city - I know that Århus is technically a city..but..you know. I miss diversity! I miss late drinks on a Tuesday! I miss anonymity! I miss opportunity! I am hoping that Copenhagen is the perfect mix of big city, and cosy 'city'. I'm hoping that it will be my and my girlfriend's home for years to come. I hope that we are both happy there. I have a feeling we will be.
But I don't know Copenhagen. I've visited a few times, but not enough to know where to go. I'm at a bit of a loss on this subject, and hope to find out places through looking, online research, and any recommendations that come my way.
I'm just very excited :)
