Joints

After two gloriously sunny weeks away, I find myself catching up with all kinds of stuff, much of which belongs here. To begin with, here are are some joints.

Bombs Away!

Saw this film clip on reddit the other day. Shows M117 bombs falling from a B-52's bomb bay. Very cool to see it from this angle. 

Last year I got up close and personal with a Boeing B-29 Superfortress, which is smaller than the B-52, but still has absolutely gigantic bomb bays. Impressive stuff.

Samsung - Every Day is Day One

I'm normally not a big fan of any kind of long advert, but this works. It's beautiful, quite simple, and certainly didn't feel like the 2:19 it is.

Samsung are the first global partners of the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals), but their products aren't the star of the ad, which certainly makes a difference. The short film launches ahead of the US Open Surfing Competition and was created by 72andSunny Amsterdam.
