Saw this fantastic short last night. Directed by Carl E. Rinsch, ‘The Gift’ belongs to the 'Parallel Lines' Philips Cinema campaign, aimed at the highlighting cinematic qualities of their TVs.

Great little interview with Sir John Hegarty.

"I can’t think of any other industry in the world that thinks it can succeed by making a product worse. Audi wouldn’t say ‘we can sell more cars if we actually make them slightly worse’. No restaurant is going to say ‘I’m going to make a slight worse meal’. No clothing manufacturer would say ‘I’m going to make a slightly worse jacket and I’ll sell more’. Our industry is actually making the worse product and believes it will be more successful."

O.B Tampons Apology

In 2010 O.B Tampons disappeared from the shelves. Apparently. I didn't notice (if they even disappeared in Europe?). Anywho, to say sorry, Lowe and O.B Tampons have made a nice little film for every single woman out there. It's all very silly, but in my view works precisely because of that, and if silly doesn't do it for you, you get a printable coupon at the end for a discount.
