100 Years of Times Square

Created for Retronaut’s New York exhibition last year on 5th avenue, this gigantic wall sized piece is a celebration of early panoramic photographs of America’s premiere city. A month’s work of compositing, research and colorisation to create a stunning 6ft high display that celebrates 100 years of Times Square in 30 photographs combining multiple views.

Death Drive

Hold the phone! A post! 

Are you over the shock? Me too. Just about. I've quit Facebook for April because it's just depressing, and instead I hope to blog more. I'm also getting reacquainted with Twitter. 

Anyway, Death Drive by Dean Rogers is a mesmerising photographic study of spots where celebrities met their grisly fate. Travelling through Europe and the US, he visited the exact spot at the exact time of impact, recording the last thing people such as Helmut Newton, James Dean, and Jackson Pollack would have seen. Eerie stuff.
