Oh what I'd give for this to be realised. Andrew Scaife, writer and drawer of comics and such, decided to blend together two of the world's finest things: Buffy and LucasArts' point and click games. The results are nothing short of brilliant. I'm very fond of the scenes he's chosen, but would also have liked to have seen Anya standing on a chair surrounded by bunnies.

Sort of, anyway.
Shortly after I posted my last post yesterday (about the fantastic Boddingtons ads from the 90s), a friend shared this link with me. Aker Brygge is a popular neighbourhood in Oslo that has recently undergone a major transformation. To celebrate the area's opening and the start of summer, they are giving away ice cream. Norwegian agency LLOWBANK created these outdoor ads for the event, which are, obviously, a upside down ice cream.
Unfortunately, Norway has some of the strictest alcohol advertising standards in the world, and while the agency doesn't seem to be admitting to sneaking in an alternative to celebrating summer with an ice cream, the ads have sparked debate and are under review. It's too bad as I think they're rather good.

Thanks Per.
Over Easter my dad reminded me of the Boddingtons adverts that ran in the 90s. They're still some of my favourite print and TV ads of all time. Wonderfully comic, beautiful, and perfectly cheeky. By BBH.
