Although the fact that this now iconic poster was never actually distributed is no secret, this lovely little film discusses its origins, and is quite the ad for the wonderful bookshop it was found in more than 50 years after its printing. A woman in the UK recently found 15 originals rolled up in her attic. Lucky thing.
Can't seem to get enough of these minimal posters recently. It's odd really, as for a long time I wasn't a fan of minimal stuff. I'm still not much of a fan of the Scandinavian minimal fashion of home decor and the like. It's probably just my Englishness but I like a bit of mess. Anyway. These are very cool, and can be bought at Gallery Wonchan.
A long, long time ago I wrote a post about how much I hate razor adverts. Or razors, really. It was around the time you had to start using batteries so your multiple blades would bloody vibrate. It still sounds so pathetic. So imagine my joy when I saw this.
