2001 Clear Channel Memorandum

This is insane.

"The 2001 Clear Channel memorandum is a controversial document distributed by Clear Channel Communications shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks to the more than 1,200 radio stations they owned. The memo contained a long list of what the memo termed "lyrically questionable" songs."

Willow - Sweater

It reminds me of a ride I went on when I was 14 in Universal Studios Hollywood. I think it was called Avalanche, or something. You sat in a kind of sledge on a track, which was completely surrounded by an almost translucent plastic tube, which was in turn surrounded by a white tube made to look a bit like snow. The outer tube rotated in one direction, the inner in the opposite, which made you think you were tumbling over and over in the snow. It totally and utterly did my head in, as in white-knuckle-gripping-the-sides did my head in. I'll never forget it.
