Routemaster 2000

I know it should be 2011 (or 2012?) but Routemaster 2000 just sounds better. Anyway, according to Co. Design, London will see the first new Routemaster buses hitting the streets in the new year. That's 2012, just to clarify.

Surprisingly, I'm actually quite fond of the new design. I love the old Routemaster, partly due to the design, and partly due to the personal memories I have of jumping on and off (or falling on and off), but I think that Thomas Heatherwick has done a marvellous job. I'll look forward to the chance of, well, getting on one.

Mother's Psychic T-Shirts

If I had £100, and if the number 86 was still available, I'd have bought me one of these. Mother, in collaboration with Steve Coe and I Love Boxie, has produced 100 t-shirts, each with their own personalised message on. You won't know what the message is though, until it arrives. Once you've picked your t-shirt, the psychic Lucinda Clare will do her thing, and find a personalised prediction which is printed on to your tee. Nice. If a bit pricey.
