Netflix - You Gotta Get It To Get It

I like these new print ads for Netflix, but it feels a bit old. After all the minimal print that's been going around it's just a bit tired. That said, it still looks good, and it's interesting to see Netflix going down a design path. By DDB Canada.

dtac - The Power of Love

A cute ad for phone company dtac by Y&R. Although I love that technology isn't the answer, as it so often is in tech ads, it is a bit weird that the dad didn't just pick up the baby in the first place. I presume parenting roles are different in Thailand. Whatever, it's cute and nice to see that at least one tech company agrees that yes, technology will never replace love, no matter what we're sometimes told. 

The Original Mission Impossible Squirrel

I've been seeing this clip of a squirrel doing a mission impossible to get to some nuts. It's some guy in England who set up the obstacle course back in 2011 (at least so the clip tells me. I think it's older). Anywho, it reminded me of the original, which was a Carling Black Label ad from 1989 (shit, I'm old). I remember it very clearly as it made my parents laugh out loud, or 'lol' as they say now (much to my disbelief). I don't know who made it.
